Today (20 May 2025), Mr. Pichai Watcharawongpaiboon, Director of the Conservation Area Management Office 9 (Ubon Ratchathani), revealed the operation to clear mines in the Phanom Dong Rak Wildlife Sanctuary, which is a collaboration between several agencies, including officials from the Phanom Dong Rak Wildlife Sanctuary, the National Mine Action Center, the Military Command Center, the Royal Thai Army Headquarters, Task Force 3, Suranaree Task Force, Border Patrol Police Company 224, as well as community leaders and local people in Huai Chan Subdistrict, Khun Han District, Si Sa Ket Province.
